EXDEATH WALLPAPER

exdeath

Exdeath is a pretty awful name. But then again, this is the same company that did not refrain from correcting Final Fantasy VII’s Aeris’ name in subsequent games to Aerith; and this character is a lot more popular than the final boss of FFV. I was reading some info on Exdeath on wikipedia and learned that Exodus is another proper translation of his name, romanized as Ekusudesu. Maybe they’ll finally name him the way he should be in the inevitable 3DS remake. This will likely increase the time it takes for your changes to go live. Now that you mention it, yes

Forgive me, but I’m not really one of those purists who believe everything should remain the same as it was in the Japanese versions. I agree with that, but Exdeath is This process takes no more than a few hours and we’ll send you an email once approved.

My first thought as to why this inconsistency persists was simply that Square is aware that fans have called the guy Exdeath because of the fan translations predating the game hitting the PSone, so they officially called him that as to not add confusion or get a backlash. BombKareshi Follow Forum Posts: Make sure this is what you intended. When one considers the character’s history the fact that he was sealed away in another dimension for yearsthe name Exodus starts having a lot more sense than exdath.

That reminds me of a very silly pun with a character’s name in One Piece that made me laugh every time. Exdeath is a pretty awful name. But everytime he introduces himself, everyone understands it as “Saru desu” I’m a Monkey and then proceeds to tell him how he doesn’t look like one. To be the case, I believe his romanized name should have been “Ekusodusu”.

I’ve always thought Exdeath a dumbass name that an eight-year old would come up with as something “badass”. But I don’t think “Ekusudesu” can be interpreted as Exodus. Maybe they’ll finally name him the way he should be in the inevitable 3DS remake.

My only problem with the name is when they mistranslate it as “Xdeath” which then sounds like a 12 year olds gamertag. This little guy’s name is romanized as “Sarudesu”, with the intention of being interpreted as “Saldeath”.
